You are needed now to Fight for your rights!  Congress is Voting this week to Make VA Employees "At-Will"

The House of Representatives will be voting  to make all VA employees at-will (HR-1994). The Senate will likely follow shortly after. Under this legislation, VA employees would lose their rights for terminations to 30 days notice, right to representation, ability to gather evidence, and provided with an inadequate appeal to MSPB (S-1082). Your only chance tofight a wrongful termination would be to appeal to an MSPB Administrative Judge.  If your appeal is not heard within 45 days, your termination would be perminent!
The bill would also extend the probationary periods for Title 5 and Hybrid 38 employees to 18 months (with the ability to extend this longer).
We need every single NVAC member, their family, and firends to call their member of Congress and their Senators IMMEDIATELY. Please call immediately: 1-855-976-5397 to be connected to your lawmaker.
